Foundation A Foundation programme is a pre-university course for students who have completed secondary school (SSC, O-Level or equivalent). It builds the subject knowledge, English and study skills you need for a Bachelor degree.
Foundation programmes are offered in streams such as Science, Engineering, Business, Arts and Computing. After successful completion, you can progress directly into the first year of a related Bachelor degree.

Typically a completed secondary school certificate (SSC, O-Level or equivalent) with passes or credits in at least five subjects, usually including English and Mathematics.
Science and Engineering streams often require passes in Mathematics and a science subject.
Many universities accept IELTS 4.0 to 5.0 or an equivalent score. Students without a test can often take the university’s own English placement test or an intensive English course first.
